Custom Views

Custom Views can be added to filter logging of each service. Click on Custom Views, then Add to create new views. Include the view name and then choose from the including filters for Logged Time, Event Level, Source and Event ID to customize.

1. Click on Custom Views, then Add to create new views.
2. Include the view name and then choose from the including filters for Logged Time, Event Level, Source and Event ID to customize.
3. Use the drop down menus for Source to filter the Instance and/or Process.
   1. By Instance - Select All Instances (default) or use the drop down to select a specific instance to monitor.
   2. By Process - Select All Processes (default) or use the drop down to select a specific process to monitor.
   3. By Context -
4. To include or exclude Event ID's, click on the ellipses button in the corresponding section to open the Service Event Types window.

Once a new custom view have been created, DocLink uses the criteria specified and populates a data view log.  From there, you will be able to see the General and Detail (in XML format) information about each event in the Properties section.

The Actions drop down menu allows you to complete further actions relating to the custom view.
