Email Import - General

Input Source
  1. Name – The uniquely identifying name of the image queue.
  2. Description – A brief explanation of the purpose of the queue.
  3. Active (checkbox) – Toggles the queue on/off.
Location
  1. Input Folder – The UNC path used to identify the drop location of files to be imported.
  2. Archive Folder – The UNC path used to move processed files into once processed/failed.
  3. Server Instance – The name of the server where the Import Service used is located.
Service Parameters
  1. Poll Rate (seconds) – How often doc-link attempts to import from this location. Default is 30 seconds.
  2. Retry Period (minutes) – How often doc-link will attempt to import non-successful files. Default is one minute.
  3. Archive Days – The time files will be saved in the archive folder until they are deleted.
  4. Import Body of Email – Allows you to import the email as a separate document from the attachments.
    1. Save Body to TIF – Saves the email as a TIF. Otherwise it will default to original format.
  5. Import Attachments – Saves the attachments as the document type configured on the Static Indexing tab.
    1. Save PDFs to TIF – Convert PDF attachments to TIF format when saved into doc-link.
    2. Decollate TIF Attachments – Allows for the decollation of multi-page TIF files into single pages, all with the same property values.
