Email Import - Dynamic Indexing

The Dynamic Properties tab allows you to configure and map email properties to the document type identified on the Static Indexing tab. From this window the Administrator can add, edit and remove document property field mappings, or clear the entire list of mappings.

Each property field mapping will contain the following information:

  1. Email Property - field value from incoming email in XML format
  2. Description - optional field
  3. doc-link Property - property in doc-link mapped to this field value
Add a Property Mapping
  1. Click the Add button.
  2. Use the Email Property drop down menu to select the XML property you want to add. These properties are hard-coded and cannot be changed.
  3. Add/change the description of the property mappings. This is optional.
  4. Password – Password to connect to email inbox. This is a hidden field.
  5. Use the doc-link Property drop down menu to select the one you want to map to the XML property.
  6. Repeat Steps 1-4 until all necessary properties have been mapped.
  7. Click Apply to save, or OK to save the configuration and close the dialog screen.
  8. Click Cancel to exit the screen without saving the changes.
Remove a Property Mapping
  1. Highlight an email property mapping in the grid.
  2. Click the Remove button.
Remove All Property Mappings

To remove the entire list of property mappings from the grid, click the Clear Map button.

Any changes made to the configuration of the Email Queue Input Source requires a restart of the doc-link Import Service.
