Configure Output Manager Service

The doc-link Output Manager service configuration includes options for default output methods and system delivery schedules.

Each output method has system options that must be configured. To define the default output method configuration:

1. From the Administration tab, click Service Monitor > doc-link Output Manager > Management > Service Configuration. The Output Service Configuration screen will open.
2. The General tab is visible when you first open the Service Configuration screen. Configure default output methods and the default system schedule associated with each output method by clicking on their corresponding button.

3. Select Queue new document for Output Manager processing to turn on scheduling of new documents. If this check box is selected, any new documents will be queued for automatic routing via Output Manager. If you do not want new documents to be queued for routing, clear the check box.

   This setting applies to documents being entered into doc-link at the present time. If the check box is cleared, documents being entered into doc-link will not be queued for automatic routing. If the check box is selected at a later date, new documents being entered into doc-link will be scheduled for automatic routing if appropriate. However, the documents that were entered into doc-link when the check box was not selected will not be retroactively scheduled for automatic routing.

4. Select Purge items in the Sent folder to clear out the items found in the Service Monitor > doc-link Output Manager > Management > Output Processing > Batch Items tab. This can be set to purge based on time of day and item age. Purged items will be deleted from doc-link permanently.
