Running the Output Manager Service

In order to automatically route documents, the Output Manager service must be running.  If the service is not running, documents will not be processed and distributed until the service is turned on.

When the service is running, Output Manager will schedule a document for distribution. The file information is displayed in the Output Processing node of the Service Monitor (Service Monitor… > doc-link Output Manager Service > Management > Output Processing). If the document has not yet been sent, the status is marked as Scheduled. When the document has been routed, the status is marked as Completed.
