Configure SSRS

  1. From the Administration tab, click the System Settings tile.
  2. Next, click SSRS.

    You can create custom DocLink report files using Microsoft® Report Builder and access these reports in Report Manager.

SQL Server Reporting Services

Web Service URL – Specify the URL used to access the SQL® Server Reporting Services (SSRS) web server.

SSRS is required to execute ad hoc reports and to generate images from an XML document in Import Manager.

Use the Test Connection button to verify the designated URL is valid.

Report Builder Version – Select from the drop down menu the version of Report Builder that is installed.

Report Manager

Specify the location in SSRS where the ad hoc reports are stored. Click the Browse… button to open the search dialog.

The SQL Server Reporting Services service need to be configured with the domain admin service account running the DocLink services. If SQL is on a different server that DocLink, and the service is a local admin account on the DocLink app server, then it needs to be added to the Administrators group on the SQL server.

Creation and management of SSRS reports is outside the scope of DocLink.
