Configure SMTP Settings
If you are using Output Manager to distribute email and routing SMTP 
 email through your exchange server, you can specify your SMTP server and 
 port from this tab.
	- From the Administration tab, click the System 
	 Settings tile.
 
	- Next, click SMTP.
 
SMTP
Simple Mail Transfer protocol (SMTP) is the standard protocol for sending 
 emails across the internet.
	- SMTP Server - Name of the SMTP/Exchange/Cloud 
	 server. 
	
Examples: DLAPPSVR, EXCHSVR10, smtp.outlook.com, smtp.gmail.com
 
	- SMTP Port - Port number. 
	
		- Non-encrypted SMTP uses port 25 (default 
		 port setting)
 
		- SSL-encrypted SMTP typically uses port 465 
		 or 587 (for TLS)
 
	
 
	- Use SSL - Check this box if you are using 
	 SSL or TLS.
 
	- SMTP Login - Enter the user account name 
	 if you are using authentication. Depending on your email service provider, 
	 enter either the full email address (ex.: user_name@email.com) 
	 or login name (ex.: user_name).
 
	- SMTP Password - Enter the email account 
	 password if you are using SSL.
 
IMAP
The Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) is a mail protocol used 
 for accessing email on a remote web server from a local client. IMAP is 
 one of the most commonly used Internet mail protocols for retrieving emails 
 and is supported by all modern email clients and web servers. Use the 
 recommended settings provided by your email provider for IMAP configuration.
The settings here are used to monitor emails that go out from DocLink. 
 Bounce-back messages returned from the server will be logged in Service 
 Monitor for the DocLink Output Manager Service.
	- IMAP Server - name of the IMAP server.
 
	- IMAP Port - Port number. 
	
		- Non-encrypted IMAP uses port 143 (default 
		 port setting)
 
		- SSL-encrypted IMAP typically uses port 993
 
	
 
	- Use SSL - Check this box if you are using 
	 SSL.
 
	- IMAP Login - Enter the email login name 
	 if you are using authentication. Depending on your email service provider, 
	 enter either the full email address (ex.: user_name@email.com) 
	 or login name (ex.: user_name).
 
	- IMAP Password - Enter the email account 
	 password if you are using SSL.
