Output Manager Printers Aren't Displayed

Question:  I’m configuring a Print output method, but the list of printers to select from is empty.

Response:  The Output Manager service is designed to automatically detect the printers available to the computer running the Output Manager service. If a list of printers isn’t being displayed, check the following:

  1. Make sure the Output Manager service has been turned on at least once in order to gather a list of available printers.
  2. Make sure that the log on specified for the Output Manager service has access to the printers.
  3. If the appropriate printer does not appear in the list, make sure the computer where the Output Manager service is installed has access to that printer.
  4. If the printer still does not appear on the list, reinstall the printer on the computer where the Output Manager service is installed using the log on account specified for the service.
