On the New/Edit Application Window you will configure the type of application you are integrating with and whether the integration will utilize Workflow.
Select an appropriate Application Name. If you will be integrating with more than one application choose a name that uniquely identifies this application from another.
Select the appropriate Application Type from the drop-down list based on the kind of application you are integrating with. Your choices are:
Windows based application (Windows),
Text based application (Applications in a terminal emulator window),
Web based application (HTML).
If you will be utilizing Workflow with this application, check the enable doc-link Workflow for this application checkbox.
If this check box is checked, Quick-link will index and move documents through workflow if an Index action is defined.
If this check box is unchecked, Quick-link will index documents via the manual indexing window if an Index action is defined.
The Clipboard Settings... button enables only if Text is selected in the Application Type field and use Windows Clipboard for data retrieval is enabled. It is not applicable if configuring HTML or Windows applications.
