Image Queue is an import process built to automatically import documents (TIF and PDF) from a working directory into the doc-link repository and workflow.
Configuration of the input source must be finished and activated before the image queue will successfully run. From Image Queue, click Add to create, Remove to delete, and Properties to change a queue.
Inside the configuration window called Image Queue Input Source, add/update the following:
Name – The uniquely identifying name of the image queue.
Description – A detailed explanation of the purpose of the queue.
Active check box – Toggles the queue on/off.
Input Folder – The UNC path used to identify the drop location of files to be imported.
Archive Folder – The UNC path used to move processed files into once processed/failed.
Server Instance – The name of the server where the Import Service used is located.
Poll Rate – How often (in seconds) doc-link attempts to import from this location.
Retry Days – How many days doc-link will attempt to import non-successful files.
Archive Days – Days files will be saved in the archive folder until they are deleted.
The Indexing tab allows specifications to the settings used to create a doc-link document from an image file. From this tab, you may specify the following:
Send to Workflow button – Is workflow enabled/disabled.
Workflow – Specify which Workflow the image will be sent to after import.
Category – Assigns a category (tag) within the specified workflow
Document – This is a pre-determined, uneditable option.
Company – Specifies which top-level folder the document will be indexed to.
Type – Determines which document type the document is indexed as.
Properties – Add static properties to the document as specified.
