General Tab

  1. Enter the Name of the routing list. The name should be descriptive and unique. You may want to include the name of the document type in the routing list name.
  2. Select the Document Type for which this routing list will be applied.
Conditions

Optional Conditions for the selected document type have been included as filters that will determine the execution of the routing list. Check the box next to the optional condition(s) to enable them. Then, click on the link to open a drill-down window relating to each of the specific conditions. Click on any of the links in the Optional Conditions list to open the associated configuration dialog screen.

Allows definition based one or more property filters

Assigned to a specific company

Filters documents created under a specific top-level folder

Is in any status of a specified workflow

Filters documents that are in specific workflows/categories

Is in a specified workflow status

Filters documents that are in specific workflow statuses

Is in workflow

 

Where document is marked as priority

Filters documents in workflow that have been marked with a priority flag. Refer to the DL 31 Users Guide.pdf for information on how to mark a document in workflow as priority.

Is ready for distribution

Filters documents based in the TriggerComplete column in the OMInboundDocs table, and is controlled by an external process (ex: stored procedure). To make this functions properly, you must enable the Retry when a document does not match... and set the evaluation period.

Is in a specified workflow category

Filters documents that are in specific workflows/categories


  1. Once you have selected the conditions, you can edit them in the Edit the rule description section. For any defined optional condition, click on the underlined value and modify the settings.
  2. The Options button allows you to:
    1. Clear All Content – clear all conditions for the current routing list.
    2. View XML – view the routing list conditions in XML format.
  3. If you want Output Manager to retry sending an unmatched document for a period of time, select the Retry when a document does not match… checkbox and use the up/down arrows to select the number of days to retry sending. Options are 1 – 30 days.
