Companies – Companies refer to the Top-Level Folders in doc-link. Choose which companies the specific Smart Form will apply to or simply check the box for All if all companies will use the form.
**IMPORTANT** - Although not included by default, ALL Smart Forms must have one element mapped to a company. No Smart Form will work correctly without this configured.
Format with basic layout – This option allows you to choose some basic setup for the form and then doc-link will do the rest. Specify the page size, font and font size.
Include hidden fields – Check this box to include all hidden elements in the created document. If this is unchecked, all elements with the Visible check box unchecked (from the Appearance tab) will not be included in the created document.
Format with XSLT Template – Using a XSLT Template you can fully customize the formatting and layout of the Smart Form beyond the capabilities of the ‘basic’ layout. Creation of an XSLT template is not a task performed by doc-link support and must either be done 'in-house' or by Altec Professional Services.
Render Documents in Landscape – Rotates the document on creation to landscape view. This setting can apply for both ‘basic’ and XSLT layouts.
Document Type to Generate – On creation, this is the document type that will be assigned to the created document. The document type must be created before it can be chosen from the drop-down option here.
