The DocLink Workflow Manager is comprised of several different areas. Each area performs a different function.
Interface Elements |
|
Workflow Explorer Pane |
The Workflow Explorer pane displays configured items for each of the workflows configured in your system. Use the + and – symbols to expand or collapse the list. Select an item in the list to display its properties in the Properties window. |
Workflow Properties Pane |
The Properties pane displays configuration options for each item in the Workflow Explorer or the Designer. Properties will change as different items are highlighted. |
Workflow Roles Tab |
The Roles tab displays all DocLink roles assigned to the selected workflow. |
Workflow Designer |
The Designer lets you define the movement of documents through workflow by graphically allowing you to configure which statuses can send documents to other statuses. You can also configure the movement of documents between workflows. Using the Designer tools you will create a flow diagram as part of workflow configuration similar to a Microsoft Visio® diagram specifying each possible 'move' between workflow activities. Designer tools are dependent on the creation of workflow statuses. You must create statuses before using the Designer. The Designer is the UI component that replaces manually editing the NextWorkflowActivities table. |
