Workflow Ribbon
The Workflow Ribbon contains all the necessary options to manage workflows and can display different kinds of controls. the controls are divided into groups based on their function. the two main controls are menus and buttons.
Create Group
The Create group provides the following functionality:
- Add - Creates a new workflow or workflow item including: document type, category, property or status. If you select the down arrow, DocLink will display a menu allowing you to select the specific item you want to create.
- Save - Saves changes to the currently selected workflow.
Edit Group
The Edit group provides the following functionality:
- Delete - Deletes the selected workflow.
View Group
The DocLink Workflow Manager View group allows you to control the look of the Workflow Manager:
- Zoom - Allows choosing between a Normal or Fit-to-window zoom.
- Zoom Rectangle - Enables a zoom box to create custom zoom view.
- Workflow Explorer - Launches the Workflow Explorer.
- Role View - Launches the Role Window.
- Properties Window - Launches the Properties Window.
- Restore Defaults - Restored default ribbon and toolbar settings.
Window Group
The Window group in the DocLink Workflow Manager provides the following functionality:
- Close All Workflows - Allows you to quickly close all opened workflows.
- Windows List - Use the drop down menu to select an open workflow window to view.
Help Group
The Help group in the DocLink Workflow Manager provides the following functionality:
- Help Contents - Opens DocLink on-line help. If you cannot see this menu item, go to the View group and select Restore Defaults.
