Through the DocLink Event and Data Manager module, administrators can achieve full control over automated approver email notifications, workflow moves, and status reporting for ERM, Output Manager and XML modules in one easy to use interface.
It is comprised of two modules - Event Manager and Data Manager. Event Manager monitors DocLink events and sends email notifications to alert users when the events occur. Data Manager includes the ability to automate processes based on monitored events or scheduled tasks including moving documents in workflow, a database action, or executing an external application.
DocLink events are asynchronous. What this means is they do not necessarily fire one after another in line. Because of this, the chaining of events is not supported.
