In order for you to conduct a search for documents, Quick-link must be configured for a search action and you must fire an event that had been configured to trigger the action. For example, pressing F11 on a Voucher Entry screen could be configured to retrieve all purchase orders and delivery receipts associated with the current voucher based on matching PO number.
If multiple documents are returned from the query, they are displayed in the Search Results window. If one document is returned, it is displayed directly in the doc-link Viewer.
Ask your doc-link Administrator, or view the Quick-link Configuration Report, to find out detailed what events have been configured to trigger a search action.
Switch to Discovery Mode to highlight fields that are mapped to indexing and search actions.
