Stamps

Stamps are permanent electronic annotations that can be added to document images while in the doc-link Viewer!JumpID(`DOCLINKMASTER.HLP',`The_Viewer'). They differ from other annotations in that they become a permanent part of an image when applied and cannot be changed, hidden or deleted.

In doc-link there are two distinct kinds of stamps:

Rubber stamps are the generic variety that can be configured for a number of different purposes. For example, you can configure rubber stamps to represent electronic versions of 'Approved for Payment', 'Paid', and 'Void' stamps commonly used to mark business documents.

Distribution stamps are custom windows included in the category of doc-link Smart Forms. They are designed specifically to index account distribution information on an invoice prior to entry into the accounting system. Stamp data can also be automatically imported into the accounting package. Click here for Smart Forms.
