Name your Indexing Action
From the drop-down list, select the appropriate document type you will be indexing.
In the Events field, select all Event(s) that will trigger this Indexing Action. Click the Add... button to create a new event.
The Properties grid will display current configuration for each property associated with the selected document type. If a property has been mapped to a enabled screen field, you will see a value listed in the Field column.
Highlight each property in the grid and click the Edit... button to configure how the property will be indexed into doc-link from the Property Configuration window.
If Workflow is enabled, check the corresponding workflow behavior you wish to occur when Quick-link executes the Indexing Action. If Workflow is not enabled for this application these options will be grayed out.
For example:
Check the change document type box to change the document type from one type to another during indexing and select the originating type from the drop down list. For example, if you wish to change an Invoice in Process document type to a Vendor Invoice during indexing, choose Invoice in Process from the Originating Document Type list and Vendor Invoice in the Document Type list at the top of the window.
Check the corresponding box if you wish to move the document to the next workflow status during indexing. The document will move to the status currently displayed in the Workflow Move Document field. For example, check this option to move a document to a 'Vouchered' or 'Entered' status in Workflow or to send a document to a status that removes it from Workflow.
If applicable, continue configuring Quick-link or select the to save your changes.
