DocLink Remote Host Service |
The Remote Host service is required to be running to support the .NET framework used by various .NET components including Workflow Manager, System Settings, New User Wizard and Quick-link Configuration. This service is installed on the application server. |

DocLink Support Services |
The Support services are installed on the application server and run the LDAP authentication, Linked Documents, and audit purge processes. |

DocLink Decollator Service |
The Decollator service polls a file folder for new multi-page TIFF files and converts these TIFFs to single page TIFFs while moving them the a location where they can be indexed into DocLink. This service is typically installed on the application server, but it can be installed on other servers or client PC's to scale processing load. |

DocLink ERM Capture Services |
The ERM service polls input sources for incoming documents to ERM process. This service is typically installed on the application server, but it can be installed on other servers to scale processing load. |

DocLink Output Manager Services |
The Output Manager service automatically distributes documents to business partners based on pre-configured routing instructions. This service is typically installed on the application server, but it can be installed on other servers to scale processing load. |

DocLink Indexing Service |
The Indexing service is for the retro-index feature that automatically revisits a document in your database to assign a value to properties that were not originally indexed. Retro-Index can be configured as a scheduled or triggered task. Scheduled Retro-Index takes place at a specified time and triggered Retro-Index takes place when a specified document is saved in doc-link. This service is typically installed on the application server, but it can be installed on other servers to scale processing load. |

DocLink Barcode Services |
The Barcode service reads and indexes scanned or faxed TIFF images based on information contained in a barcode. This service is typically installed on the application server, but can be installed on other servers to scale processing load. |

DocLink Import Service |
The Import service reads XML and indexes documents based on information contained in the XML. This service is typically installed on the application server, but it can be installed on other servers to scale processing load. |

DocLink Scan Batch Transfer |
The Scan Batch Transfer service transfers scanned batches from one location to another via file copy or FTP. This service is typically installed on the remote scan station. |

DocLink Event Service |
The Event Service manages configured automation in the DocLink Event Manager including, but not limited to document moves, automatic email notifications, and document creation notifications. This service is typically installed on the application server. |
