Settings here are specific to your DocuSign account and are all required.

  • Copy the Integrator Key GUID from DocuSign, or from the text file in the previous section, into this text box.

API Username - The GUID associated with the DocuSign account.

  • Copy the API Username GUID from DocuSign, or from the text file in the previous section, into this text box.

Host - The host refers to the account type in DocuSign. Options here are Sandbox and Production. Select the appropriate account type here. This will be used when granting consent.

Private Key File - The private key file is generated only once and occurs at the time of creating/editing the API Integrator Key in DocuSign. It is a part of the RSA Keypair generation. In the previous section, the private key text file was saved to a network share, and must be accessible by the DocLink service account.

  • Enter the UNC path where the private key file is saved to, or use the ellipsis button to browse to the location.

Grant Consent - After all values have been entered, click this button to connect to DocuSign. You will be directed to a login page.

  • This action only needs to be done once.

Connect tab

The settings on the Connect tab allows the DocuSign connects to the DocLink web service.

Message Queue Location (required) - The UNC path for messages that DocuSign sends back to DocLink as statuses change on a Document. This location must be accessible by the DocLink service account.

While a document is in a pending status, multiple messages may be received from DocuSign for that document. In these cases, DocLink will only identify the last document state (status) and move the document through workflow accordingly.

Certificate of Completion

A certificate, from DocuSign, can be downloaded for each signed/completed document that passes through the electronic signature process and connected to the signed document as a supplemental document. It is connected to the main document by the DocLink document id.

These settings are optional. If you want to download a certificate for each signed document, check the Save Certificate of Completion… box and complete the following settings.

  1. Document Type – Use the drop down to associate the certificate to a DocLink document type.
  2. Link Property (required) – Use the drop down to select the master property to populate the linking property.
  3. Envelope Id Property (optional) - This will add the envelope id to the certificate in the selected property.
  4. Completion Date Property (optional) - Select the master property to be used to add the completion date of the signed document to the certificate.
