Configure the Master Barcode Service

Any unassigned input sources will be processed by the "master" barcode service. If you want to change which service is the "master", this is done in Service Monitor.

1. In Service Monitor, go to the DocLink Barcode Service Dashboard.
2. Under Instances, click on the service instance you want to designate as the master.
3. In the lower half of the window, the Instance Properties are listed.
4. Go to the instance detail 'Is Master'. Check the box.
5. Next, go to the current master barcode service instance and uncheck the 'Is Master' box.
6. Restart each barcode service so the changes take effect.
