Drag and Drop Indexing
Drag and Drop Indexing is similar to manual indexing when it comes to
processing documents in the document viewer. The difference is that with
drag and drop, there is no need to place files in a designated batch folder
before indexing. You can simply drag files onto the Smart Client icon.
The advantage of this feature is that you can index virtually any file
type into doc-link by simply dragging the file onto the Smart Client Icon
on the desktop Some examples of files include (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx,
.pdf, .tif, .wav, .msg, .txt, .ppt, .pptx, etc.).
