To install the Quick-link Configuration Designer you must enable the installation from the doc-link Client Applications installation:
Access to the Quick-link Configuration screens is controlled via a product key. The integration is licensed based on the number of applications you will be configuring. You must be an administrator to access the configuration windows, either directly by launching the Altec.QuickLinkConfig.exe installed in the Altec program files directory (<x>:\Program Files\Altec\doc-link2x), or from within the doc-link Administrator application.
Quick-link integration is deployed to users by simply installing the Quick-link Application Enabler. Before using Quick-link, users must also the Smart Client.
