Version Control Manager

Version control allows users to manage non-TIFF and non-PDF documents. The purpose of this feature is to provide an easy way to check out DocLink documents, make revisions, and check back in a new version of that document.

Auditing Access:

On the Administration tab, click on the Version Control tile under Monitoring.

The DocLink administrator can monitor this window for all checked out documents and revers a checked out document.

  1. Undo Checkout - Provides the ability to undo a checked-out document, in the event it was inadvertently checked out.
  2. Refresh - Refreshes the list to provide the latest 'snapshot' of what is checked out, and by whom.
    1. Id - the DocLink document ID
    2. Document - the concatenated name of the DocLink document (type and key property)
    3. User - the user who has checked the document out
    4. Checked Out - the date and time stamp of when the document was last checked out
