Using Command Line Switches

User-specific login preferences can be set in the Options window. However, command line switches can also be used to set these preferences. Use of command line switches can be useful if you always want to use different user accounts for specific DocLink applications.

To use command line switches:

  1. Create a shortcut for the application.
  2. Right-click on the shortcut and select Properties.
  3. Click on the Shortcut tab.
  4. The Target field contains the path of the executable file. Place your cursor in the Target field and move to the end of the path.
  5. Use DocLink’s command line switches to specify the appropriate login preferences.
