Quick Start Instructions

This is a summary of the steps needed to quickly begin using Decollator.  This is intended for advanced users who are already familiar with using setup programs, installation products, and directory structures.

1. Install Decollator by double clicking Install Decollator.exe.
2. Choose 'Yes' when prompted to load default values.
3. You may accept and save the default values, or change the directories to fit your particular environment.
4. Click the Save button to save your setup options. Choose 'Yes' to create any necessary directories.
5. Click the Services tab, then click the Install Service button. This will install Decollator as a Windows Service.
6. Click the Create Shortcut button to add a shortcut to the Decollator Administrator to your desktop.
7. Open the Windows Services Manager, choose Decollator Service, and then click Start.  Services manager can be found by clicking Start, then Programs, Administrative Tools, Computer Management (or you may right-click My Computer on the desktop, and choose Manage.)

Now you’re ready to go! Any images that are found in the Incoming Images folder will be processed and placed in the Destination Images folder.
