Offline Access

There are times when documents are needed for offline access. For those individuals requiring offline access to documents, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the folder where the documents have been downloaded. They many be on a local workstations or network folder location.
  2. Double-click on the Altec.RemoteClient.exe file in the folder. The Smart Client login screen will open.
  3. Click on the Browse... button. This will open the Browse For Folder dialog where you select the folder location of the downloaded documents. Hint: This will be the same folder where the Altec.RemoteClient.exe file is located.
  4. Click OK to close the browse dialog.
  5. A simplified Smart Client application will open with an Advanced Inquiry tab. All downloaded document types will be displayed in the corresponding list for offline access.
