Enter or change the name in the Field Mapping Name field.
Each screen value can be mapped to one or more doc-link properties. Select the doc-link property or properties you wish to map the field to from the select properties for field list. The list contains all properties configured in doc-link.
If applicable, under Field Options, select:
Map field to top-level Folder - check the box if values entered in a particular field will be used to determine top-level folders in doc-link. Each top-level folder must be created and document types assigned from the doc-link client prior to using this functionality.
Script Enabled - check if doc-link should transform the property mapped to a top-level folder prior to indexing it into doc-link. Click the Script... button to enter and test the script on the Script Field Value dialog.
Under HTML Field Identification click the Find HTML... button to open the HTML Element window and select an HTML field to map.
Once mapped, data will be displayed in the following fields, where appropriate:
Type - Indicates if the mapped field is a HTML or Table Element.
ID - unique identifier of the selected HTML object if one is available.
Name - corresponding name of the HTML element
Method - displays the method Quick-link will use to locate the field (either by Ordinal Position or Occurrence)
Ordinal Position - displays ordinal numbers indicating position or the order of an object on the page.
Occurrence - displays a value that corresponds to the instance an object appears on the web page.
Click the Test button to confirm Quick-link's ability to capture this field.
A Field Found! message indicates Quick-link can successfully identify the field. A value in the Field Value field will also be returned.
A Field Not Found! message indicates a problem. The field cannot be identified, or the enabled screen may not be currently open.
To continue configuration, click Events in the folder list.
