Running the Support Service
This service is required to be running to support the Audit Purge process,
the LDAP Authentication process and the Linked Documents process. This
service is dependent on the doc-link Remote Host Service and will not
start unless the Remote Host Service is also running. Both services get
installed on the server where the Application Components are installed.
The Support Service writes to a new Event Viewer log called doc-link
log. To prevent disruption of services, change log properties to
'Overwrite Events as Needed'.
