Integration Enabler

The Integration Enabler allows users to determine how Workflow will behave. By default, the Integration Enabler will launch doc-link Workflow automatically when the user opens an integrated accounting application window. If users don't want to process documents from Workflow, they can disable or hide Workflow via the Integration Enabler, allowing them to work in the accounting application without processing new doc-link documents. In addition, the user can configure it so Workflow will never be opened automatically when they navigate to an integrated accounting application window or always open. The Enabler runs as a system tray or toolbar application on the client workstation. The Integration Enabler is automatically installed with the doc-link Smart Client application.

With the Enabler users can:

Enable & Show the Workflow window - The Enabler will open workflow so users can select a document in workflow and link it to transaction data in the business application when the transaction is saved.

Enable & Hide the Workflow window - The integration will still be active but the workflow window will be closed, the user will not be able to index new transaction from workflow but can update previously indexed doc-link documents when existing transactions are updated in the business application.

Manually Enable the workflow window – Force the user to always manually enable and show the workflow screen whenever opening an integrated screen. Workflow never auto-launches.

Always Enabled – Forces the integration to always launch in an Enable & Show mode whenever the user launches an integrated screen.

Disable the doc-link integration - Shuts down the integration completely, no new documents can be processed in Workflow and no updates of existing doc-link documents will occur.
