By default, doc-link includes an Administrator role. This role cannot be modified or deleted. The only action you can take on this role is to assign members to it.
By design, members of the Administrator role have access to all doc-link components and documents, including doc-link Administrator. Since all configuration happens within the Administration tab, you must be a member of the Administrator role in order to view/access this tab in Smart Client.

Membership in the Administrator role overrides membership in any other role. Denied permissions in another role will be overridden by the user's membership in the Administrator role. This is the only instance where 'Denied' permissions can be overridden. |
