Using Distribution Stamp Templates

Templates can be created for common distributions to save time on data entry. For example, if you receive a monthly phone bill with charges distributed to the same multiple accounts, you can enter the data in the stamp once, save it as a template and reuse it as needed. Templates are user defined and will differ from user to user.

 

Create a Distribution Stamp TemplateCreate a Distribution Stamp Template

  1. Enter just data in the stamp you wish to save as a template.
  2. Click the distribution stamp's Options ribbon.
  3. Select the Save as Template button. The Save As Template dialog opens where you can name and save your template.

 

Delete an Existing TemplateDelete an Existing Template

  1. Click the distribution stamp's Options ribbon.
  2. Select the Delete Template button. The Delete Distribution Stamp Template dialog opens where you can select a template from the list and press OK. On the confirmation box click OK.

 

Apply a Distribution Stamp TemplateApply a Distribution Stamp Template

  1. Open the Distribution Stamp window.
  2. From the default Home ribbon, select the down-arrow on the From Template drop-down box. Select a template from the list.
  3. A new stamp will be created and loaded with default values from your selected template.
  4. Adjust values as needed.
  5. Save or Stamp the distribution stamp.
