Configure Quick-link
The Quick-link Configuration Designer, accessed by clicking the Quick-link tile on the Administration tab, allows you to:
- Identify and enable application screens Quick-link will integrate with.
- Map fields found on application screens with DocLink properties.
- Define events(mouse, button or keyboard) that will trigger an integration action (either Index or Search).
- Define criteria used for index and search actions.
After a one time configuration, DocLink users activate the Quick-link Application Enabler in their system tray each time they wish to use the integration.

To access Quick-link configuration, the DocLink Remote Host Service must be running. |
Quick-link limitations:
- Quick-link cannot integrate with applications written in MS Access.
- Cannot integrate with applications written in Great Plains Dexterity.
- Cannot integrate with Java web applications.
- Cannot map to fields displayed in a grid, (distribution details can be indexed via auto-index).
