Full Text Search Considerations

Here are a few things to keep in mind with the use of DocLink Full Text Capture Service.

1. The results of documents being evaluated and processed through the Full Text Capture service are stored in a table in the database, as string data.

   Consider the document type when choosing what to include for full text capture. AP invoices would not be a good document type to include, but Contracts would.

2. The "cleaner" a document is, the better the results are.

   Depending on how clear and crisp the document is will determine how well the service will read the contents. Keep in mind that you may see missing characters or wrapping issues within the document.

   Different formats will be presented in different ways. Therefore, text results will vary.

3. The service will favor new documents first. So, if you have a document that has failed to be processed, it will be evaluated after newer documents come into the queue.
