Offline Access

There are times when documents are needed for offline access (for example, auditing purposes). For those individuals requiring offline access to documents, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the folder where the documents have been downloaded. They many be on a local workstations or network folder location.
  2. Double-click on the Altec.RemoteClient.exe file - - in the folder. The Smart Client login screen will open.

    ⇒ DO NOT select a user profile.

  3. Click on the Browse... button. This will open the Browse For Folder dialog where you select the folder location of the downloaded documents.

    Hint: This will be the same folder where the Altec.RemoteClient.exe file is located.

  4. Once you have selected the location, click OK to close the browse dialog.
  5. A simplified Smart Client application will open with an Advanced Inquiry tab. All downloaded document types will be displayed in the corresponding list for offline access.
